Family Outing

“Get ready we’re going soon”, my dad said. I was so excited to go to the beach because it was a hot day and I hadn’t been for a swim in ages.

“Aye this doesn't look like the beach”. We had arrived at Sylvia Park to pick up some food to eat at the beach. My family and I had heaps of plans but we all wanted to go to the beach, that was the first plan anyway.

As we approached the beach we didn’t see anyone swimming, but as we reached the sand there was only a few people in the water. It was cold enough that it was windy so I wondered  what it was like it the water. I touched the water and the first thing that went in mind was... “ I AM NOT SWIMMING IN THIS COLD WATER!”

I was really bored sitting on the sand watching people swimming in the water. I couldn’t stand being bored, I was supposed to be having fun, so I had no choice but to dive straight into the cold water. I swam around for abit then I was used to the cold water and in no time I was actually thinking the water was sort of warm.

I had enjoyed going to the beach with my family, and definitely would want to go again!

Hoyts Cinemas Here We Come!

“Are you guys ready?” I asked Ahsin and James. Last week on Friday Ahsin, James and myself went to the movies to watch the new Spider Man ( Spider Man 4 ). We were all filled with excitement and couldn’t wait to arrive at the Hoyts Cinemas in Sylvia Park.

That Friday at school my friends and I were all planning to go to the movies. “Should we catch the train there?” James said. I thought that catching the train would be wasting money so I decided to ask my mum to drop us off.

As soon as the movie started we straight away stopped talking and focused onto the screen. While watching the movie I bought out some popcorn to share between the three of us. The movie was really about two characters, Spider man and This reptile dude ( A.K.A DR Curt Connors).  The Reptile man is a scientist that wanted to get his arm back because he only had one arm. He had been studying all his life and finally he got what he wanted.

As the movie was coming to an end, the three of us wanted to stay in the theater because it was comfortable and warm. We picked up a phrase from the movie that we like and we now say it at school. The phrase we liked was ‘ITS NOT MY POLICY’.

Even though we wanted to stay at the theater for longer we were still happy that we even made it to the cinemas. The movie That I am next planning to go to is ‘Snow White And The Huntsmen.
