Stormy Day At The Beach

Orientation: Stormy Day at a beach
The sky was dull and the seagulls huddled together to find shelter. Mum and I tried to do the same but struggled, as the sand whipped our legs like a stings from a swarm of bees. The powerful wind forced my jacket to flap and hit my face every second. I try to tell mum something but the wind just snatched my words away every time, so I didn't bother anymore.

Problem: Someone is drowning
“Help, help”. As we approached our car, massive waves smashed against a person who was in danger in the water. We told the lifeguard, and straight away he dove into the water to safe the person. “Hang on, I’m coming to get you”!!!

Resolution: lifeguard saves him
As the lifeguard reached the person in danger, mum and I finally got to the car. We anxiously waited in the car till the person was out of the extremely dangerous sea. “Thank you, for saving my life”!!!
Conclusion: safely get home
“Time to go home now”, mum said. Even though it was a bad day to go to the beach, at least we ended up helping someone from drowning!!

My Visual Mihi

Fakalofa Lahi Atu, My name is Kingston. This is a short visual mihi that I made in Extension. All these graphics represent me and my Family. Some also represent my hobbies. I reason why I put the Niuean flag in my mihi is because I am Niuean. I love music so I just had to put that in my mihi. Sometimes I go to Church so that is pretty important in my life. Lastly I like playing Rugby and I want to become a Good Rugby player.

Waitangi Day

Waitangi Day is the day that brought peace between Maori and Pakeha. Maori and Pakeha Probably wanted to stop war, so the Pakeha wrote a Treaty for both sides to sign. I reckon that was a smart idea to make a Treaty.

I didn’t really celebrate Waitangi Day, but it was nice to have a day off with my family. On Waitangi day I just relaxed while watching TV. Maybe next time, I will celebrate Waitangi Day with my family.

Christmas 2012

“Merry Christmas”, I said to my family. Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Most people all around the world celebrate Christmas by having a family get together, and also by handing out presents to the younger ones. Christmas day is the best day of the year for me!

As the day passed and everyone arrived at Mt Roskill (my grandparents house), the food was blessed and the day started. As my mouth watered, “Mmm, look at all this delicious food”  mumbled out of it. After I had finished serving my plate of scrumptious food I went to sit down and demolish it all.

When it was time to open the presents all the little kids ran to the sitting room with excitement. Every kid had received at least one present or more. I was very happy with what I got.

At the end of the day I had enjoyed spending my time celebrating Christmas with my family and all my cousins!
