Stormy Day At The Beach
Orientation: Stormy Day at a beach
The sky was dull and the seagulls huddled together to find shelter. Mum and I tried to do the same but struggled, as the sand whipped our legs like a stings from a swarm of bees. The powerful wind forced my jacket to flap and hit my face every second. I try to tell mum something but the wind just snatched my words away every time, so I didn't bother anymore.
Problem: Someone is drowning
“Help, help”. As we approached our car, massive waves smashed against a person who was in danger in the water. We told the lifeguard, and straight away he dove into the water to safe the person. “Hang on, I’m coming to get you”!!!
Resolution: lifeguard saves him
As the lifeguard reached the person in danger, mum and I finally got to the car. We anxiously waited in the car till the person was out of the extremely dangerous sea. “Thank you, for saving my life”!!!
Conclusion: safely get home
“Time to go home now”, mum said. Even though it was a bad day to go to the beach, at least we ended up helping someone from drowning!!
