What Am I ?

Today in extension we were playing a game called What am I? First Mrs Tele'a put a sticky paper on our foreheads and all of them had something on them. We all asked each other some questions and the answer could only be yes or no untill we found out what they were. My paper said TV Presenter.

If I have this job I think I would probably need to speak well and have good expresion in my talking. Another thing I think I will need is good english and to make sure my words are flowing.

Symbols

Hi my name is Kingston and I have drawn some symbols representing me. That is me in the middle. I drew the All Blacks logo because I like rugby, and they are my favorite team. The Niuean flag is representing my culture and where I come from. The picture Family stands for my family and me because I love hanging out with them. My last graphic is the Bible. I have drawn this because I go to Church, and when I go to church I read the Bible.

Going To Tech

This week on Tuesday the year 7's went to Tamaki College for Tech. The day before it we were told which group we were in. The group's were Food tech, Electronics and Wood works. I am in Food tech.

As soon as we arrived I waited outside for my Tech Teacher to come. A few minutes later the Food Tech people were sent with Mrs Heka to our stations. When we arrived at the door we had to wash our hands and put on a cooking apron.

"Today we are making chocolate cookies" Mrs Heka said. When I heard that I was excited, and couldn't wait to start cooking. First we got put into groups. The group that we were in is the group we were in for the time we are there (9 weeks) .

When we started making the first thing we had to do was to mix all the ingredients together. As soon as they were all together we rolled the mixture into little circles then placed it onto a tray with baking paper. after that we put it in the oven to cook.

The first bite of my cookie tasted like Heaven. At the end of our session I had learnt some things about cooking and can't wait till our next session.

Riding My Bike

On Sunday I rode my bike to my cousin's house. I was riding with my brother. We were going there to get out of the house, and because we were board.

As soon as we arrived there, my dad was there talking to my auntie. We went straight inside to get a drink, we were very thirsty. After we had a drink we sat down and watched my cousin play his pS2.

Not long after my mum showed up and that was very strange. When my brother and I left my house my mum had gone to school to do some work, and my dad was at home. While I was inside I was munching into some beautiful chicken.

After my stomach was full I had I little then not long after I rode back home.

My Holidays

In the holidays I went to a program called YouthPride with my brother and cousin, to get out of the house and do something. This program lasted for three weeks it started at 10 and finished at 2. As soon as I started going there I didn't like it. But on the second week I was used to it I even started to like it.

I thing I liked about it was that they gave us a free lunch, it was delicious. My favorite things I liked to do was to shoot hoops and play Volley ball. Sometimes I would just sit down and talk to my friend Starford.

On Thursday(day before last day) we went to the Swimarama Pools and we got to go in for free, all we had to pay for was the Hydro slide. As soon as I touched the water I knew it was going to take while to get used to the water, because it was so cold. At the end of my swim I was shivering.

On the last day of YouthPride I had enjoyed my time there because I got to meet Levi Hawkens and other people. I even got a prize.
