Without A Netbook I Am Nothing!

Do you know how much my Netbook has changed my learning?

Well last year I had to write in a book with a pencil and there was no point, because nobody could see it. Now that I have a Netbook I am able to write faster and my writing is much neater, but most importantly, I have an audience that can see my writing on my blog.

This year I can teach myself by going on the Internet, and looking at my group’s site. Then I go to my teacher and ask for a book that I need then read it. When I am finished reading I can go back onto my group’s site and open the Document that my teacher has put online.

There are a few things that can be improved on the Netbook. Sometimes my Internet connection plays up so I have to go onto G-edit, this is not cool. The last thing that could be improved is Tux Paint. This Program is making my drawing look babyish, but apart from that everything is great.

This year learning has been much easier for me, because I am able to teach myself.

  1. Kia ora Kingston,
I have been enjoying catching up with your blog over the holidays and reading through all the things your shared in 2011. You did some great work with Miss Garden.
I appreciated the quality of your reflection in this post and found it very helpful to get your feedback on your first year of 'netbooking'. I am glad you enjoy learning in this way because it is the way of the future and I don't see any turning back now.
I share your concern about Tux paint - particularly for talented graphic artists like you. I wonder of you could take some time this week and explore http://pixlr.com/editor/ and give me some feedback. I suspect it may be much more to your liking.

    All the best for 2012
    Mrs Burt
