Room 15 have been finding out about the Early Europeans who came to NZ. We read about the Whalers and Sealers, Missionaries, Settlers and Traders. We wrote scripts as if we were one of these people and recorded our scripts with our animations of the European ships arriving in NZ playing in the background. Mine is one of the ones that was finished and played on P.E.N.N. -our school news programme

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed listening to your story about how Jeff Smith arrived in NZ and his experiences. Life must of been really hard back then. You couldn't just jump onto a plane and come to NZ. There was no electricity either. I think that the early settlers were very adventurous and brave. I hope that you learnt alot about this topic.

I think that my Ship was probbly the best thing on my animation because it was the only thing moving. I think that my background was the worst because nothing was moving and it looked boring. I think I need to improve on my animation by making it look better and make more than two things move or at least three.
